Training:
The
Small and Micro-Enterprises Development Unit is continuously providing various
types of training programs that renders education, knowledge and miscellaneous
skills acquirement in the microfinance industry, in addition to bestowing various
types of technical support that aims at capacity building and strengthening of
the institutional building to microfinance programs and corporations that would
enable them providing their services in the best international practices and at
the same time secure sustainability of credit services to the targeted groups.
Normally,
the process of planning for training and institutional building is initiated by
identifying the training gap and assessing the position of the programs and
institutions with regard to institutional aspects, scope of acquired skills and
skills practiced in the field. In
pursuance with the above, an adequate plan is developed, that include a number
of training courses which consist of the specific and general goals, as well as
the targeted groups, periods of convening the training programs. Thus, adequate funds are allocated and
necessary support to secure accomplishment of the activities. Necessary arrangements are taken to identify
the type of consultancies and expertise that are needed to encounter any
contingent deficiency or requirement that is to be implemented to support
institutional building of any institution or program, whereby the final out
output of a financing program/institution is to possess the maximum limit of the
institutional power that is achieved by qualified cadres and applied
operational rules and regulations.
Types
of training may be divided into advanced training and basic training, which
entail a number of different training courses, whereby some are convened in
collaboration with a number of partners; such as the financing network
(Sanabel) in the Arab Countries, in addition to a number of national
consultants who possess training skills and proficient in the scientific
subject.
The
