Three financing agreements of € 23 million were signed between Yemen and German government represented by German Development Bank . The KfW will, according to the agreements, fund reproductive health program (€10 million), education sector (€8 million) and SFD phase III programs (€5 million)..
The agreement signed by Vice Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Hisham Sharaf and SFD Head of Cultural Heritage, Abdullah Al-Dailami, and the KfW's Representative Ms. Caludia Arce.
Sharaf praised the German government's keenness on supporting the development process in Yemen, noting the KfW's substantial contributions to supporting the development sectors.
