Organizes "BDS providers" fair
Under the
auspices of Abdulkarim I. Al-Arhabi, the
Premier Deputy for Economic Affairs and Minister of Planning and
Int'l Coop/SFD MD, the Small and Micro Enterprises Promotions
Services Agency (SMEPS) organized on 16–18 June 2007 in Sana'a
the Business Development Services (BDS) Providers fair, aiming
to initiate links between the BDS providers and small & micro
enterprises (SMEs). Participants included 28 firms carrying out
a variety of activities (training institutes, ITs, commercial
media, ads, banking, etc). The fair comprised several
activities, including the distribution of free 700 training
courses, costing about 10 million Yemeni rials and covering
fields such as small projects management, administration and
accountancy, English, computer…
The fair
comes within the efforts to link the two sectors (BDS and SMEs)
through introducing the services demanded by the market and the
nature of these services.
